Biographical Sketch of Our Pastor

Tim Wright grew up as a missionary kid in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Magoffin County, Kentucky. His parents served with Faith Mountain Mission in two local churches, plus a camp and local public school ministries. Pastor Wright was saved at the age of six and gave his life for full time service in October of 1977.  After graduating from Tennessee Temple University in 1984, with a degree in Christian School Music, he married Stephanie Wampler in December of the same year.

His places of service have included a Christian school in Lousiville, Kentucky; a church and Christian school in Hackensack, New Jersey; a church in Sciotoville, Ohio; a music company in Newport News, Virginia; a church in Corapeake, NC, and July 8, 2012, he became the pastor of Little Sandy Baptist, Greenup, Kentucky.

Pastor Tim received his Master of Ministry degree in 1995 from Bethany Theological Seminary, and was ordained to the ministry in 1996 at Berean Baptist Church, Sciotoville, Ohio.  

Pastor Tim and Stephanie were graciously allowed to have two children, Ian and Kendra. Ian, his wife and their two children live in Virginia. Kendra and her husband live in South Carolina.
